I always loved macro photography but for some reason I didn’t manage to get solid macro lens yet. I purchased reverse ring to play with it little bit. I used it with 28mm lens. It is not the sharpest photo on the world but I love that creamy misty look.

I was playing with my new Helios lens.

It is bit hard to focus to get sharp photos, mainly because my kids are annoyed with my photography attempts 😃

Anyway, I am going to try it again on my way from work. I use to walk through Union Canal and it is beautiful autumn. Hopefully it is not going to rain (but you can never be sure in Scotland). .

I bought Helios 44m-4 lens. It is old, manual Soviet lens. I have got mine from Etsy from Ukraine.
Today I tried it for the first time with my almost dead zombie aloe vera and i am so excited about it. I can’t wait to have more time to play with it bit more. I wonder if I will be able to create that famous swirly bokeh 😃
